Catholic Travellers to give aid to London's rough sleepers this Saturday and call out for volunteers to help
On 10 November 2018, Travellers, organised by the Catholic Traveller Bible Study group, met in Westminster, London, to give out sleeping bags, warm clothing and other aid to homeless rough sleepers.
This Saturday, 8th December, the group will be meeting again and they are asking for any volunteers who want to help to come along and join in.
Speaking to the Travellers' Times, Tom Gavin from the Bible Study group said that it was great work to do.
"We will be meeting at Westminster Cathedral at 5 p.m. and will hear Mass at 6pm, and from there we will spread out with soup and sleeping bags for the homeless, the more the better," said Tom Gavin.
