Tom Harbour's Horse Fair 2026 - a photo story by Guilhem Seguin

I didn’t know about the Tom Harbours Horse Fair in Romford, east London ... writes photographer Guilhem Seguin. I heard about it two weeks earlier, just after returning from the Kent Horse Fair. Le, a photographer I know, told me about it. It didn’t take me long to decide to come back to England.

I really like what comes from this fair: the people, the atmosphere, and the family and human side of it, which makes you want to stay and capture the moments as they happen.

At one point, a man showed me an old photograph of his grandfather and father selling horses. A few generations later, here I am, trying to photograph some moments of this story in my own way.

The pleasure of travelling, discovering new things and meeting people is still very much alive for me. I experience these moments with the same passion.
