Bournemouth Horse Fair 2026 a ‘lovely’ success – photo-story by LE Tang

Hundreds of Gypsies, Travellers and friends came to support the Bournemouth Horse Fair and Drive in Dorset, earlier this month.

The weekend-long fair on the 4th and 5th of April and was then followed by a drive on Monday 6th April organised by Bournemouth Fair stalwart Steve.

Photographer LE Tang was there to record the event and the camp as the weather just about stayed kind and people enjoyed checking out the stalls, running their own stalls, catching up with family and friends – and of course – the showing and dealing of the many horses there!

A mobile farrier was there as well.

On the first day of the Fair, fellow organiser Katie Bright took to social media and thanked everyone for turning out.

“Thank you everyone for coming today and supporting the Fair,” posted Katie on the Bournemouth Fair Facebook page.

“We hope you all had a lovely day.”
