London Christmas Drive 2025 - by Guilhem Seguin

My name is Guilhem Seguin. I am a musician and photographer, and I combine these two passions. I have been doing street photography for some time, and I wanted to embark on a longer-term project. People are always at the heart of my photography.

I discovered the Irish Travellers and Gypsy communities in Ireland and England through the work of Joseph Philippe Bevillard and other photographers such as Estzer Halasi. Last year, while watching videos, I came across the Christmas Drive, and I told myself I would take part the following year. I got my wish plus more! After arriving, I was given the opportunity to cross part of London on a cart thanks to the invitation of a father and his son, whom I will never thank enough. It was an incredible moment to experience.

I fell under the charm of this caring and warm community, which I am discovering bit by bit, and without who my photos would not exist.

I am currently working on a series that has taken me so far three times to Ballinasloe and twice to Appleby.
