Hertfordshire Horse Fair April 2025 - “Don’t let our traditions die out.”

Hertfordshire Horse Fair took place near Hatfield, Herts, on the 26th and 27th April, with lovely hot weather for both days, once the morning mist had burned off.

John from the Romany Heritage Facebook Page was there with his camera and has kindly sent the Travellers Times a selection of his photos, all of which you can see here!

There where plenty of horses and boxes on the Saturday and quite a few turned up on Sunday as well.

There were also a variety of beautiful stalls and vendors set up for the Saturday, but a few had left by the Sunday.

Regular fair-goer Charlene – who was there - called out for more people to support Hertfordshire Horse Fair, which has another date coming up on the same field on the weekend of the 26-27 July.

“Very good field and location,” Charlene told her followers on Facebook in a post set to public.
“This could be a good fair if everyone sticks together and turns up and pulls together.”
“Supporting these places will give us all somewhere to go and keep the dealing and the traditions alive.”
“Don’t let our traditions die out.”
