Channel 4 looking for people aged 16-24 to take part in Random Acts

Random Acts is a major 3-year Arts Council England/Channel 4 project that supports young artists between the ages of 16-24.

We are looking for young artists with creative ideas from all art forms; from dance to visual art, animation to poetry, music to drama, film to video art to create stunning new short films.

What is Random Acts? 

Firstly, you don't have to be a filmmaker. We are looking for young artists with a fabulous, bold, creative idea across all art-forms.If we love your idea for a short arts film (under 3 mins long) then we will give you help,support, advice and a budget to get your film made - the films will then be submitted to Channel 4 for potential broadcast on their on-line platform and TV strand.. 

You can apply individually,or,as a group - whatever works for you.

Why should I apply?

This is a great chance to see your passion for something turned in to a wonderful short film and potentially screened on Channel 4, being part of the scheme is a great addition to your Personal Statement for Universities and Colleges or CV for future employers - being a part of this will make you stand out from the crowd. It also gives you access to a variety of career development opportunities. AND It’s really a lot of fun too.
