BBC World Service debates the “Gypsy Problem”

In the course of the show we debated the issues among community members such as Florina Zoltan, a Romany woman from Romania, and pastor Davy Jones from Birmingham. But this was no cozy talking shop complaining about the persecution of Gypsies, Roma and Traveller people, it was a chance to confront representatives of far right newspapers and political parties from Italy and Hungary. It was also a chance to debate the tough topic of whether we are also to blame for our own problems.
