Damian Le Bas
is a journalist and writer. He was born into a large Romany family in Sussex and has worked for Travellers' Times since 2009. He has written for BBC Radio and is passionate about Romany and Traveller rights and the English Romani language.
Charles Newland is a Romany Gypsy filmmaker from Nottingham.He has had his short films shown at various festivals across Europe and won the Shane Meadows short film competition.
So what is this course about?
Travelling voices aims to equip Gypsies and Travellers with the basic skills in media. Learn how to make and edit films, interview people and how to be interviewed. Certificates are awarded after completion of the course.

This two day module course means that there’s no lengthy commitment and you can do more training when it suits you.
