Suffolk County Council currently owns and manages the West Meadows Gypsy and Traveller site in Ipswich. It is a 41 pitch site and has been well utilised for 20 years.
The Council wishes to identify a suitable service provider to lease the site and take over its day to day management, including allocation of pitches and complete responsibility for site maintenance and repair.
Before we start the formal process for this, we wish to carry out soft market testing to assist us in shaping our proposals for future service provision.
This will be held on Thursday 8th July 2010 at 2.30 at Endeavour House, 8 Russell Road, Ipswich IP1 2BX
If you have experience or understanding of accommodation related management and/or custom, cultures and lifestyles of the Gypsy and Traveller community and would like to take part in the market testing exercise we would be interested in hearing from you.
