This collection of digital stories, told by Travellers and produced by The Rural media Company, depicts life on the road in the 1960s an d1970s.
Each two or three minute story records the personal memories of Traveller families in the West Midlands using fascinating photos from the famililes' own collections.
The stories help us to understand:
- How Travellers were viewed in the past
- How these views have changed
- Traditional Traveller trades and artefacts
- The part Travellers played in agriculture and their relationship to nature and landscape
